Journey of Premium Organic Tea

Bankitwangi

Bukit Sari Organic Plantation

Our Humble beginning

The Bukit Sari plantation was initially created in 1920 by a Dutch family called the Tiedemans, but its ownership shifted several times before our company manage the planatation in 2004. The plantations are transitioning to organic farming thanks to the foresight of our Director. Following a period of three years devoted to the purification of the land, in 2007 we were awarded the JAS Organic, EU Organic, and NOP (USDA Organic) certificates, and we have since been engaged in the production of organic tea.

Bankitwangi

In 2015 Bukit Sari established Bankitwangi Brand. The Bankitwangi brand was created out of a desire to deliver
high-quality products that exemplify and embrace the tea’s art and philosophy.
• The term Bankitwangi is made up from 2 words “Bankit” and “Wangi” this words are refering to the aroma (Wangi) that emitted from the glass when the tea is brewed.
• The gold color as seen above denotes the premium quality (gold; the highest quality) of the Bankitwangi-branded product.
• The shape of the leaf signifies a connection to nature (organic and natural). The leaf is a part of the plant that has a big outer surface to capture the light (blessed) from the sun (Allah), which creates the best product (gold quality) premium class.

From the logo, there are also two semicircular shapes.
• The significance of these two blackish-brown semicircles is the perspective seen from the top of the glass (mug) from which you can directly observe the tea brewing process and inhale its fragrant perfume.
• The form of the Javanese relief above and below represents loose leaf tea, this grade represents excellent quality tea used under the Bankitwangi brand.
• Javanese relief is used to define a specific tea-growing location in Java, where a significant amount of our tea is produced from planting to final product. demonstrates that the original Indonesian Bankitwangi product retains its traditional character and Javanese (Indonesian) culture.

Finally, we completed the design by adding the gold circle at both ends. These luxurious goods are the epitome of
what it means to be a Bankitwangi product.

In addition, we blend our wellknown national identity into our packaging brand design by employing batik patterns as the basis for the designs. We are proud to be able to provide the globe with the finest natural products from Indonesia, and we are committed to always promoting the finest Indonesian
products.

Over the years, we have been able to demonstrate the superiority of Indonesian Premium Quality Teas by achieving success in a few international Tea contests. As the ambassadors of Indonesian Premium Organic Tea, we are overjoyed to create a movement for Indonesian Premium tea Product, This is our driving force and motivation to educate and develop ever-more attractive offerings to meet the needs of
our customers both in Indonesia and around the world.
